These 6 museums of the imaginary offer a different way of seeing the comic strip, a passing reference, a giant construction set. The Museum of Fine Arts pays homage to the great masters of the 9th art (exhibition of original artwork), the History Museum relates the chronology of the French and Belgian comic strip from 1830 to 1960, the Museum of Natural History proposes the teeming bestiary of the comic strip, the Museum of Ethnology looks at the heroes (main character in the story), the Museum of Sciences and Techniques presents the different stages in the construction of a comic strip, the Museum of Contemporary Art is a laboratory of the avant-garde of the comic strip.

The Museum of Arts provides an opportunity to understand the industrial, economic and social history of the [Cognac] area. Screenings of films, sound effects, olfactory games and interactive experiments are to be found in this museum of a new sort.
