Perennials are plants which last from one year to the next. Their haven lies at the foot of the château de La Rochefoucauld, on the banks of the Tardoire.There are over 700 which bloom in the private areas bordered by hedges : the rambling roses in the small square garden, the rock roses, the columbines...
In the grandmother's garden, the riot of grasses which have been tamed in the white garden. As always, you must take you time, sit on the grass benches. Here you can touch, smell and learn to identify the different varieties.
