Coupe d'Europe de Montgolfières - (August 2008, Mainfonds)
A gaily-coloured flight of multicoloured balloons circle in the skies over Mainfonds. It is the meeting point for dozens of balloons which have come to compete over four days for the European Cup.

Danses et Musiques du Monde - (12th-17th August 2008, Confolens)
Each year for the last forty years, Confolens has hosted the greatest gathering of dance and music from all over the world. Parades, concerts, choreographic creations join together for lively festivities with hundreds of performers and thousands of visitors.
